Kate Hudson is known for her perfect bohemian, sun-kissed
kind of style.
And the Hollywood star well and truly showed off her carefree
fashion prowess as she stepped out in Los Angeles on Friday.
The 35-year-old flaunted her slender frame in a stunning
backless dress in a floaty, boho style, as she arrived at a friend's house.
And as she turned, her full back was visible, as the hemline
of the dress scooped down low to the curve of her waistline.
The full-length frock was finished in a black and white
print, and she added a dose of her nonchalant, pre-Coachella look with her
tresses tied back neatly in a plait, and with large sunglasses o
n her face.
As one of the famous fans of the popular Californian-based
music festival - which kicks off the second weekend of April - Kate was no
doubt getting ready for an appearance there.
Indeed, the popular annual event holds a special place in
her heart, as it's where she met her ex-partner - and father of her youngest
child Bingham - Matt Bellamy all those years ago.
The Almost Famous actress met the Muse frontman back in 2010
at the sun-soaked music event, and their love blossomed from there.
However, after their relationship moved quickly and
successfully - they moved in together within months, had a son in 2011 and
became engaged in that same year - it all came to an end in 2014 when they
called off their engagement.
But Kate will surely want to return to her beloved festival,
and perhaps will wear something just like the backless dress if she she makes
her pilgrimage to see top music acts at Inland Empire Coachella Valley desert
in Indio, California.
Some of the artists featured in this year's lineup include
Drake, David Guetta, Azealia Banks, FKA Twigs and Florence + The Machine,
kicking off April 11.
Kate recently opened up about her on-going good relationship
with her British former beau, and how they successfully work co-parenting for
their three-year-old son into their lives.
'We’re family for the rest of our lives, we have a beautiful
baby and we love making wine. We’ll continue doing it.' the daughter of Goldie
Hawn told Wine Enthusiast Magazine's May edition.
They were even spotted recently having a friendly chat over
breakfast together in Brentwood.
She sent up Hudson Bellamy wines with the Muse rocker during
happier times, after her stepdad shared his love of winemaking with the couple.
'Kurt Russell started making wine a few years back up in the
Santa Rita Hills and he kept telling me and Matt that we had to get up and
blend with them and do a harvest,' she said.
